Basketball Victoria’s new PlayHQ platform
Basketball Victoria has recently introduced a new platform that all Basketball Clubs now use. This requires each player to pay a “Basketball Victoria Annual Participation Licence” fee for insurance purposes. You can find out more information here. The Basketball Victoria annual fee is $29 for Juniors and $43 for players 18yrs and over. This fee will be listed as a separate item at payment and will cover the player for 365days/2 seasons. Therefore, a player registering for the following Summer season, will not be charged the Basketball Victoria fee again until the end of the cycle.
Children – U20 and below
Current Club fee is $280 per player for the Season.
For the upcoming Summer 23/24 season – early bird discounted fees are $230 (pay by 11th August 2023)
Where a player plays on more than one team, the player will be required to pay $280 for the first team and then $160 for each subsequent team.
“Fill ins” must be registered as financial Club Members and are able to play up to 5 games as a “fill in” of a second team before additional team fees ($160) are payable.
Fees are paid online at the time of registration.
All refund requests will incur an administration fee of $10 before finalisation of teams or 50% of the registration fee thereafter.
Teams – U23 and above
U23 teams and above are registered as a team and pay a team fee relative to the competition they play in.
